BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Eagles and Patriots will meet in Super Bowl LII--and CBS3 Philadelphia sports reporter Pat Gallen says the city is ready.

"They're feeling pretty good, as you can imagine," Gallen told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Ben Parker. "It's been thirteen long years since the fans have longed for this moment, and the way they won that game last night really puts the cherry on top."

He said there's something of a revenge factor here, as the Patriots defeated the Eagles back in Super Bowl 39.

"If the Eagles can beat Tom Brady and get back at them for what they did thirteen years ago, it would make it just a little bit sweeter," he said.

The two also spoke about Carson Wentz being knocked out earlier this season, as well as the Eagles' passionate fan base.
