Lauryn Hill just kicked off her Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour this month and the singer has already cancelled and postponed several dates. For those that went to see Lauryn Hill here in Boston at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion I'm sure it didn't take you long to realize that she was late for her show!! She has a long history of showing up late to her shows or canceling them altogether.
According to The Virginian-Pilot, Lauryn Hill canceled her performance on August 16th in Virginia Beach, as well as North Carolina concerts in Charlotte and Raleigh, and St. Petersburg, Florida scheduled for this week. A Miami concert which was planned for this weekend was also postponed until October.
A statement from Live Nation cited “unforeseen production issues” as the reason for the show cancellations.
