Let's put aside the fact that in these parts, the Cowboys are about as relevant as a pothole on Storrow..
When Jerry Jones (the team's owner) demanded that any player who does not stand for the National Anthem before a game will not play for the Cowboys, Jerry drew a line in the sand.
That line says "Some people's 1st Amendment Rights are not as important as another person's opinions".
Here is a GREAT commentary video from Dale Hansen at Dallas TV station WFAA below. Mr. Hansen breaks down the fact that a Domestic Violence offender can play for Jones, but a player protesting injustices that plague communities around the country cannot.
