When I think of the Guinness Book of World Records, I think of daredevil stunts..the tallest man..the oldest woman..as a kid I could read that book all day!
I remember once in high school, the people from Guinness Book had come to our school. We were attempting to have the most people sit in each others lap at once. We couldn't pull it off.
The Children's Services of Roxbury are looking to gather 5000 people to set the Guinness Book Record for the largest human peace sign!
The event is free to the public and will be held on Boston Common (on the Charles St/Beacon St side..get off at Park Street on the T) Saturday October 20th at 10am.
