97.7 Dance Party with SOS Band

If you attended the 97.7 Dance Party with the S.O.S. Band then I don't have to tell you how packed Mixx 360 in Malden was, you already know! Countless people approached me at the show to thank me for bringing the "Old School" back to Boston. The praises were truly humbling, but for the record I didn't bring back that vibe, YOU the listener did!

It is because of 97.7 listeners like yourself that we continue to do what we do. I couldn't begin to tell you how good it felt to DJ in a club and play nothing but good Old School R&B and Hip Hop. It was like I was back in the 90's!

It's kind of ironic that S.O.S. (which is an acronym for 'Sounds Of Success') was there at this dance party. Thinking back to when the radio station first signed on as The New 97.7 playing 10,000 songs in a row, I knew deep down that this station would be successful. The R&B sound is what makes us so successful! The New 97.7 has filled a much needed void in Boston radio, and the Dance Party with S.O.S. Band was living proof of that!

If you could only see what goes on behind the scenes you would realize that our hearts are truly involved with this radio station. The long days and sleepless nights, the blood, sweat, and tears......you have no idea!

Chris Malone, KJ, Kesha, T-Clark, Rick Anderson, and everyone else that has been a part of this incredible movement with me deserve some recognition! I am truly honored to work with such an amazing group of people. We are all one big happy family and I know I speak for everyone here at The New 97.7 when I say that YOU are a part of our 97.7 family as well!

I appreciate YOU continuing to be a part of The New 97.7 movement!
Until the next Dance Party, I'll catch you on the radio!

One Love,
Jay Brown
