Bruno Mars Giving 24K Meals On Thanksgiving

I LOVE feel good stories like this. Bruno Mars is doing a wonderful thing for families during the Thanksgiving holiday.  the Honolulu-born entertainer announced that he is teaming up with the Salvation Army for Thanksgiving in an effort to supply residents of the The Aloha State with 24,000 meals.

Major Jeff Martin, the Salvation Army Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division Divisional Leader, said,

“We are humbled and honored by this generous donation from Hawaii's own Bruno Mars.  Because of his amazing gift, 24,000 meals will be provided to those in need on this Thanksgiving holiday in Hawaii. Bruno is a shining example of how people in Hawaii step forward and take care of one another and we are grateful to him for his aloha and kokua."

Bruno performed three nights in a row at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu last week, performing for three nights in a row. "Let's show love and aloha to everyone driving down and attending the concert," he  posted on Instagram ahead of his first show on Friday. "I've missed you all and I can't wait to perform and sing on the island I call home."

The performer's 200-date tour is in support of his multi-platinum 2016 album, "24K Magic," which won six Grammy Awards earlier this year.
