People GENERALLY aren't fans of reboots, but this one sounds like a winner!
Malik Yoba will reprise his role Detective J.C. Williams in the reboot of “New York Undercover.” The series will air on the ABC network.
The reboot will pick up 20 years after the end of the original series and will follow detectives Nat Gilmore and Melissa Ortiz as they investigate the city’s most dangerous criminals from New York. This time around, Detective Williams will oversee the unit and the next generation of detectives.
Anthony Hemingway is already on board to executive produce and direct the pilot.
In a post on his Instagram page, Anthony wrote:

No word on when the series will begin production.
